Seldovia Village Tribe Health Center
SVT Health Center offers health care at a reduced cost to all who qualify based on income and family size. Our program is open to both Alaska Native and non-Native people.
Discounts for services are offered through a federal grant program sponsored by the Health Resources and Services Administration. Discounts for services are based on family size and income. Base rates are calculated using national poverty levels as adjusted for Alaska and extended up to 200%. Proof of income is required. This may be in the form of tax documents, pay stubs, bank statements or wage screens. Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance accepted.

We also participate in local health fairs and have sponsored health fairs in Nikolaevsk and Vosnesenka

Participate in the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program - This program is designed to reduce barriers to cancer screening for low-income women. Services provided at minimal or no cost include annual gynecological exams with pap smears and breast exams, referral if needed for colposcopy, screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast fine needle aspirations, breast ultrasounds and breast surgeon consults.

Seldovia Village Tribe Health Center helps families complete application, renewals and arrange travel for this low income program

Case Management
Provider case management for patients with chronic illness. Participate in the Pharmacy Assistance programs to help patients receive medications needed for their conditions at no cost from pharmaceutical companies - Qualification for this program is based on income.
