Seldovia Village Tribe General Assistance
General Assistance is available for Alaskan Native/American Indian people living in the Seldovia area who are members of an Indian Tribe. This program is a short-term financial assistance program to help people make ends meet while seeking other income or financial resources.
SVT offers a General Assistance Work Program in which eligible members perform work for grant funds received by the Tribe. Qualifications are:
      1. Member of an Indian Tribe
      1. Residing in the Seldovia area
      1. Individual and family not eligible for AFDC, SSI/Interim assistance for Adult Public Assistance.
